The goal was always to help just one family. If that was achieved then the project was a success. This very small goal has unexpectedly grown much larger in a short amount of time, as many new families have approached me wanting to take part.
To be honest, a program and documentary were never the first intention - it grew out of the process and research and the friendships I have made with these remarkable families. It has simply taken on a life of it's own.
A program and documentary however take an enormous amount of funding. Award winning director from London, Liz Unna signed and the trailer has been filmed.
Self funding and extremely generous family and friends keep the project going.
Any donation no matter big or small is genuinely and deeply appreciated. Sending good vibes are also just as valuable as cash. Thank you for either in advance. Please pass on to as many people as possible who would like to be part of helping this extraordinary community that is so misrepresented.
The non profit, Social Good, is our fiscal sponsor, so are entirely TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
Thank you to my family - my Mum and sister Katie - who without their incredibly generous financial and ongoing emotional support, I would not be where I am today.
Please feel free to contact me via email or phone with any enquiries or if you need any further information.
